About the Catrinas
GUADALUPE POSADA invented the catrinas to expose and magnify the injustices of “the turn of the century” in Mexico City.
In the process they became a CULTURAL SYMBOL strongly tied to the DAY OF THE DEAD.
(Plus the catrinas just LOOK COOL)
